Progressive activism

I am a proud liberal, and I have worked on Democratic campaigns throughout the Midwest. I stand with politicians who: support legislation to combat climate change and protect our air and water, work for women’s reproductive freedom, care about immigrant families, uphold LGBTQ rights, labor and fair work practices, and support health care for all. I believe in NATO and in pushing back on dictators and strongmen worldwide.

With so many issues at stake, the most effective way forward is to support Democratic candidates at the state and federal level who will enact progressive policies. Like many of my friends, I march and I make phone calls and I attend rallies. But our strongest work is at the ballot box. Voting and helping to get out the vote is the most effective effort we can make.
